SiJia

SiJia received a Bachelor’s degree from the Academy of Art University in 2020. Throughout his artistic career, he has participated in numerous projects. Since 2017, he has worked as a visual designer for several Chinese celebrities, including Walkingdead, Mai, and KeyNG. Currently, SiJia is pursuing extended studies in Expanded Animation at the University of Southern California, while achieving accomplishments in both film and AI.

His short film Cat Chaser was selected as the opening film of the 2024 Golden Rooster Awards VR·XR Exhibition in China. In addition, he has been deeply involved in the production of various commercial films, collaborating with renowned companies and directors such as Wanda, Tencent, Yu Baimei, and Wu Jing.

Since 2024, several of SiJia’s short films — Cat Chaser, Scrolling, and Torment — have repeatedly won international awards and been selected by Oscar-qualifying film festivals. Most recently, his AI short film Torment won the Best AI Short Film Award at the Oscar-qualifying LA Shorts International Film Festival.
