SiJia

Sijia earned his Bachelor’s degree from the Academy of Art University in 2020. Throughout his artistic career, he has contributed to numerous high-profile projects. Since 2017, he has served as a visual designer for prominent Chinese celebrities, including Walking Dead, Mai, and KeyNG (Yang Hesu). Currently, Sijia is pursuing an MFA in Expanded Animation at the University of Southern California (USC), where he has achieved significant recognition in the fields of film and AI.

 

His short film Cat Chaser was selected as the opening film for the VR/XR exhibition at the 2024 China Golden Rooster Awards (Chinese Biggest Film Festival). He has collaborated extensively with major studios and directors, including Wanda Pictures, Wajijiwa Entertainment, and Yu Baimei. In 2025, his AI short film Torment won Best AI Short at the LA Shorts International Film Festival ( An Oscar-qualifying festival ). His collaboration with Alibaba’s Wan2.6 team on the film Predator received widespread acclaim and was featured in Chinese biggest newspaper People's Daily.
